Instagram’s director, Mosseri, uploaded a little video on his account in which he discussed the new features that are designed to enhance the user experience and improve it, including a call rage shake (shake of anger), which will allow users to report issues faster, and the option to remove a single picture from a published photo carousel.

The objective with the first of these features is for the user to utilize the platform while something isn’t operating correctly, and then simply shake his phone, keeping the app open. Then a message will appear asking if anything went wrong, and a space where users may describe the issue will appear.

Instagram will prioritize the correction of issues that are identified to be a major problem for people’s experience if these alerts are used, because in this way users will be able to “explain exactly what happened, how it ended there, and all the emotions and feelings they have, and we’ll have someone take a look at it.”

The second feature, according to Mosseri, is one of the most requested by users for many years. To take advantage of it and customize a previously published photo carousel. It’s as simple as opening the carousel, going to the menu with three dots in the upper right corner, and choosing “edit.” You’ll find the button to remove it near the bottom.
